We just crossed a million bets tracked on POD. 1,025,175 to be exact. That felt like a good time to pull the data and share what we’re seeing.
Total turnover came in at $79,967,159, with $4,081,751 in tracked profit, for a 5.10% yield.
Just as important as the headline number is how the results behave over time. The realized profit curve and expected profit (CLV-based) move closely together, which is exactly what you want to see in a long sample. Across the dataset, 76% of bets beat CLV, with average CLV at 5.56% and average logged EV at 6.36%.
There are also clear volume patterns. Saturdays (275,630 bets) and Sundays (210,102 bets) are the two busiest days by a wide margin, which lines up with league schedules, but there's still volume throughout the week.

By market type, all major line types were profitable in this dataset: spreads (+$1.76M, 422,078 bets), totals (+$1.04M, 302,911 bets), 2-way moneyline (+$637K, 125,918 bets), and 3-way moneyline (+$646K, 174,268 bets).
A few other stats worth noting: mean odds were +101 (2.005), median limit was $150, mean vig at placement was 7.16% (falling to 6.98% at close), and the sample spans 219,696 unique events.
No single metric guarantees future results. But at this scale, the pattern is clear: sustained edge, broad participation, and outcomes that line up with expected value.
